Introduction
In the book community, there are a lot of terms that are used. In this post, I will be explaining the difference between these two terms: reading wrap up and TBR.
Book TBR vs. Reading Wrap-Up
Book TBR
TBR stands for "To Be Read." It's a list of books that you plan to read in the future. A TBR section is found on most book tracking platforms, like Goodreads and Storygraph.
There are many examples online of TBR's. They can be weekly, monthly, or yearly TBR's. I have made a summer TBR; you can check it out here.
Reading wrap-up
A reading wrap-up is a summary of the books you have read during a time period. Usually, reading wrap ups come after you have completed your TBR list or after the time period of your TBR ends. They are used to reflect on what you have read and to share your thoughts and opinions on the books with others.
From what I have seen online, reading wrap-ups are less popular than TBR lists; however, there are still many examples out there. After my summer break ended, I made a summer reading wrap-up (that you can see here), which reflects on the books on my summer TBR.
