Personal Thoughts
The Secret Garden is considered a children’s classic, however I believe that it is a classic, not exclusively a children’s classic. No matter what age you are, this book is a timeless story that anyone can appreciate and savor.
The Secret Garden has a very engaging and intriguing plot, however it’s focus is more on the characters’ and their growth.
Book Rating
★★★★★ (5/5) stars
This is a book that shouldn’t be rated. It is a piece of art that need not be judged. A story of happiness does not need to be judged, a story of childhood and youth does not need to be judged.
This classic is so incredibly crafted and written. You feel as if you are in the story and experience it all in front of you. The characters in that Burnett creates become your friends.
I kept coming back to read this, not because I want to finish it and add it to my list of books read this year, nor to find out the ending, but instead to escape into a world where everything is possible and magic and happiness surround the air.
Just like the flowers in the secret garden, this book grows on you

Much more surprising things can happen to any one who, when a disagreeable or discouraged thought comes into his mind, just has the sense to remember in time and push it out by putting in an agreeable determinedly courageous one. Two things cannot be in one place.
