My Thoughts
This is the first mystery book that I have ever read, and I was not let down. This book was easy to follow and so engaging. I started to read this book while I was in a reading slump, and it was so helpful to get me out of it. It is so interesting, and I always wanted to read more. Holly Jackson was able to immerse the reader in her universe and into Pip herself, making it so that the reader feels that they too are part of this investigation.

★★★★☆ (4/5) stars
Spoiler-free review
I did really like this book, but one thing that I felt was missing was the development of the romance between Pip and Ravi. I felt like her feelings towards him throughout the novel were not described until the end, when they kissed before her speech. If this had been developed more, then this would definitely be five stars.
