Now, they have families and live in a world where magic and steam engines are both important. In 1828, things start to shake up in England as new technology begins to change how magic works. When a foreign wizard goes missing, Cecelia's husband is sent to investigate. Cecelia leaves her kids with Kate while they try to protect magic and figure things out.

Personal Thoughts

This book has a cute and light vibe. It wraps up the story nicely, leaving no big questions and no drama. I appreciate how the authors keep the characters true to themselves and show their growth over the years. Kate and Cecelia have really become more mature, and it's fun to see how their lives have changed.

The themes of friendship and family shine through, reminding us how important it is to support one another, especially during tough times. I loved the moments of magic mixed with everyday life, and how the characters handle their challenges with creativity and teamwork. The book ends on a peaceful note, which I found very satisfying.

Book Rating

Overall, it was a sweet conclusion to the series. While it didn’t have any huge surprises or dramatic twists, I found it enjoyable in its own way. It felt like a comforting hug after a long journey. That’s why I gave it 3.75 stars.
