Introduction

After reading Sorcery and Cecelia I waited a while to read the second book in the series, The Grand Tour. Because of this wait, I had forgotten the important people and events that occurred in the first book. So I went back and skimmed the book so that I could remember, and U created a flow chart so that I could visualize and remember. So in this post I would like to share with you the flow chart that I have made for Sorcery and Cecelia

Why I Make These Visual Guides

I’ve realized that I often enjoy books more when I stop worrying about memorizing every single cousin and side character and just let myself be immersed in the world. But since I take long breaks between books in a series, I always end up confused when I start the sequel. Making these charts is honestly as much for me as it is for you guys.

Visualizing how everyone is connected helps the story stay "alive" in my head while I wait for the next installment. Plus, there is something very satisfying about seeing a complex plot broken down into colorful boxes and arrows. If you are like me and your brain sometimes feels like a browser with too many tabs open, I hope this helps you jump back into the magic without having to re-read the whole first book.

Conclusion

I hope that this flow chart has helped you in some way! I enjoyed making it! It was a bit difficult to try to fit everything, but I made it work :)
